Crawlspace Care

     Crawlspace areas are often overlooked for care and maintenance.   They are usually dark, loaded with cob webs, and limited with the amount of space to move or do repairs or work in. However pests love these protected, sheltered areas, especially in the cold winter months.  Keep the vents sealed in winter- helps keep the water pipes from freezing and seals rodents out.  Make sure there are no water leaks.  If the dryer vent is running inside the crawlspace, be sure it is secure.  Make sure it is completely vented to the exterior to prevent moisture and mold problems.
